Uncle Frank’s Baby Back Ribs

Prepare and preheat grill, Pellet Grill or Smoker.

If you are using a gas grill use one burner and keep ribs in the indirect heat sections where the burners are off.

For pellet smokers set temp to 180 degrees.

Trim excess fat, bones and remove the membrane of the back side of each rack.

Generously season each rib rack with Uncle Frank’s Seasoning on both sides.

Grill ribs for 3 hours in indirect heat meat side up. If you are using a grill (not a pellet smoker) rotate the racks every 15-20minutes

Remove the ribs, add 3tbsp of brown sugar to both sides, and 3tbsp apple juice and wrap in foil.

Return to grill or smoker, meat side down. If you are using a pellet smoker Increase your heat temperature to 225 degrees.

Continue grilling 1.5-2 hours in foil.

Remove ribs from foil and return to grill meat side up in indirect heat. Sauce the meat side of each rack with your favorite bbq sauce.

Grill 1 hour or until the meat reaches 203-205 degrees and pulls back from the bones.

Remove the ribs from the grill or smoker and let them rest under foil.

Cut ribs between each bone. Plate, serve and enjoy!

The meat should gently pull off of the bone.
