Grilled Artichokes
On each artichoke trim leaf tips with a kitchen shears, cut the artichokes in half and remove center leaves.
Boil the artichokes for 30 minutes with six cloves of garlic and a quarter cup of white vinegar.
Remove from water and let cool and dry.
Place on a pane and brush both sides with olive oil.
Place Leaf side down and season lightly with Uncle Frank’s Seasoning.
Drizzle with teriyaki sauce, Yoshida’s or Bachan’s Japanese BBQ Sauce and sprinkle with brown sugar.
Grill on medium-low heat leaf side down rotating and leaning on each other to get as much coverage as you can.
Flip and grill other side.
Remove from grill, plate and enjoy!
Fresh Herb Aïoli
Finely chopped basil, thyme and green onion. Mix with mayonnaise and 1 tablespoon of lime or lemon juice.
Chipotle Aioli
Mix one packet of chipotle seasoning with mayonnaise.
